This extension works just like Power Windows, except that instead of dragging a solid version of the window, it drags a partially transparent window. Translucent dragging is extremely processor intensive, and this extension works well only on the fastest Power Macs. If the window is too large to drag smoothly, Translucent Power Windows drags just the border instead of the entire window. This effect looks best with Aaron, which has windows with a thick border. Translucent Power Windows works only on single monitor systems. If you have more than one monitor then Translucent Power Windows will behave the same as the normal Power Windows.
Translucent Power Windows is still shareware. If you use it, you should register for Power Windows as is described in the Power Windows Read Me. I consider both Power Windows and Transparent Power Windows to be variants of the same product, so the one $5 fee entitles you to use both of them.
